oh boy. day trades were the usual APPL, GS. AAPL wasn't really a day trade, but it usually is. APPL was up for me 1$ pre-market and I didn't take the money, then when the market opens it falls and I'm down almost 1$ reminding myself how stupid I am. I encourage APPL at the top of my lungs and finally it goes up .72 for me- it was quite the battle. Made 1$ a share got greedy and watched it all disappear only to finally get most of it back (my recap of what I wrote-I talk this way too-repeating everything I say).
Still kept buying more new names-oh and MV merger talks oh ya!!!!
I'm holding (takes a deep breath) BMC,C,CMP,DGW,INSU,ISLN,JEC,ME,MV,NG,
NITE,ORCL,SEPR,SLT,TDC,UNFI,VRX
that's a lot
I'm trying to get this more closer to my actions in my IRA account. Where day trades are rare unless I make quick money. It turns out to 1 or 2 maybe a week. And I try not to do a day trade until I'm up 3 digits. But what really goes on is--when my account is down I get depressed and don't trade, when my account is up I'll trade a lot. Today my account went from up 80$ to down 120$? to I beat my daily goal. Yesterday V got stopped out in the first half hour and then 2 cents after my stop it just reversed. Sometimes before the close, and the first half of the open you just need to take down your stops. But I ramble on so.......
Robot: 4 wins, 2 losses, profit 11$. He is trading GS right now and just can't get good entries and ends up in the trade for about an hour.
Other stuff: Doing nothing today, tonight so I can get over my illness--just stocks, charts, trading. While it may be the hardest job ever, you still can't call it work or a job--it's just way too much fun and enjoyable. Whoops back to stocks again in the other stuff section(shows ya how us traders feel).
Fantasy calls: She wasn't on the list but for a little bit there I was gonna write a story, a tale, a weave 'bout a young lady who---aw never mind it's fantasy calls not fantasy tales.
