I'm gonna have to make up that 400 dollars I lost Friday just to get back to break even for the month....sigh...

One of my 2nd largest holdings @ 50 shares did this to me today, I was just seconds away from taking the loss at  about 22 (the lows of the day, of course)  my stop is now only 35 cents away, so........


Lots of calculating to do to track the Gorilla Trades part better...I forgot to write a total gain number for December and now I have to find every stocks price on Dec 31 to get the January numbers.

     One of the things I've been working on is how much the Gorilla picks spike pre-market when they send out the news letter and if you could still have a first day profit if the buy was done after the market opens around the first half hour(usually before the 9:50 est. buying spree).  So far out of 12 picks....2 were no, 1 I forgot to write price, and 9 for yes....3 over a dollar, and then  .05, .10, .26, .80, .60, .40.

     But that is day trading info...a lot of times they spike up for one or  two days and then come back
     It's in green....cause....just maybe it will help...but alas....the money borrowed for a store remodel took away my day trading powers.  So I'm trying this build a portfolio thing...which is really  difficult watching the price fluctuations every day.
    

Other stuff:  meeting tonight and end of the month payroll tomorrow ...whoops once again work finding it's way into other stuff.  Ummm.....my throat hurts

Loading up all my green holdings with dollar stops...the problem with this is not letting my winners run...there is not much profit to cover the losing trades.

....looking at the stock that use to have a profit  and now it's holding a loss...reinforces the take the small profit and run plan....aaaaaaa, when I get my daytrading powers back I'll have to deal with a 3rd option and I'm still having daily battles with just dealing with one plan for my trading

     What?....was someone thinking..."he got stopped out, and they didn't reverse the stock on him?"   Yea...the games always fun until I end up losing some money - lol.   And for the new guys....did ya ever think the market makers see your stop and bring the stock down just to mess with you personally?   Keep your stops mental...cause if you put them out there in writing.........some one will use your account for his own little cash cow.....or am I just paranoid?  :)

     And with that being said.... being the end of the month, there is a real good chance I'm gonna put up a bunch of stops to go into profit protection mode...gotta save that 20 dollar profit....man, I gotta up my share size

     it holds a clue to what's going on in my account...whether to take a dollar or to let it ride.  It sucks to watch a profit disappear.  The Rockstar would have me get out and find another trade, while the Gorilla is gonna hold the stock.  Both make a lot of money....(now I'm thinking too hard-back to the markets)
     Wait I think I have a new plan...partial sells like I did today on ENTR, eh...but after a partial sell on TGH I'm not so sure now
