Before the afternoon sell off.....I had a profit today....but somebody changed their mind...and I ended up red again for the day.
Looking for that bounce, adding stocks, July 1st mostly is an up day....fingers crossed

Other Stuff:  Sat in paint today.  I was painting a small part of my deck (a peanut butter brown that a neighbor across the field has his house) I noticed a metallic sound when I moved my leg.  It turned out to be the paint can lid stuck to my jeans, along with the stirring stick too.
Oh ya, yesterday my cell phone fell in the pond.  I had brought home some plants for the fish and pond and while I was placing some parrot's feathers in the pond my cell phone saw the water and decided to go for a swim.  It's still drying now...I'm wondering what new phone I'll end up getting.  This phone that went swimming....it was only 2 months old!  I had just got it for renewing my contract.  Now the only way to get a free phone is to renew again, I wonder if a cell phone's life expectancy is 4 years?
And  a little bit of other work stuff......today I finished up loading all of my Doug Donaldson's training video to You Tube.

Still made it here on the same day, I thought I missed my market tales (woe's) today.  Ford weighed heavily on me today.  I had a quarter but let it slide away.  I have writers block and the cable is out (been like 12 hours now).

I have a back up internet (like all good day trader wannabes).  When you are trading something like futures contracts, where the risk is high and seconds really do count, you really have no choice but to have backups of everything.   Ha, just as I wrote that my back up computer just put up a note that said "hey create a factory default back up disk.  It's my new back up computer....my previous backup computer belonged to the company and had to go to a store and become a register.  I bet it misses me about now.

Other Stuff:  I just don't want to work the midnight shift tonight.  Maybe I just kick back and think of what it will be like to drive in the rain without duct tape where the window should be.  Or how I won't have to turn on the heater when it's 90 outside  to get the hot air out of the engine compartment.  Because if I don't....the engine overheats.  I've owned that car for 13 years...been driving with tape on the window for maybe a year...got pelted by hail one day.  Then when the big truck drove through the puddle with me next to it...I was just lucky.

Other Stuff:  If you already didn't know, I've been looking for a truck. A Jeep Grand Cherokee and today I found one that I wanted to take home.  I have been searching far and wide for one that would get along with me.  For a couple days in a row I was driving over 2 hours just to look at a potential one.  But their pictures don't really match with what they look like in person.  In my price range it isn't easy to find one that can look good without all the make up!  But today I did....I'm gonna pick it up and bring it home tonight.

spent a while thinking about how 1 good futures trade would give me a nice profit for the day.    But, I stayed away from the futures...updated my charts...worked on payroll instead of trading....etc
Glad the market put in that closing rally...cause my holdings were mostly down until then.

Other Stuff:  But really work stuff  (I have no other stuff, I'm way backed up on work stuff, and unless I pass out it gets to be around a 16 hours day...just a little while ago it was a 20 hour day, and with 4 hours of sleep another 8 hours of work...then I passed out.  And that's how I get an easy day.
I'm trying to learn how to edit some videos for work and it really is ridiculous how they can't give you a video tutorial in a video making program.  I got so frustrated today...not only me but the program was at it's limit too, freezing up constantly from my banging on the keys and stuff....I deleted the program....CAUSE THAT ALWAYS IS GONNA FIX STUFF!!!

down 54 YM points     yep    I'm  pretty stupid!  Most of the day I studied training tapes for ideas for a new manager...I had made one trade and had a  small profit.  When I finished letting that get in the way of trading I went beserk and  lost over 60 points in just over an hour....I was just punching the button time after time with no reason for it.....I'm stupid.

Right now I have 8 YM points...started out down...came back....went back down...and now in the green...an hour to go and I'm thinking about  just keeping my profit....the market needs to go up cause my long term holdings are eating into that small profit I'm sitting on.   End of the day and the small profit could not hold back the falling long term holdings on my stock positions.

Tried twice today to go short and it wouldn't give me the trade.  And on the  third try my short gets stopped out.

Other Stuff:  I have no idea what is causing this, but I seem to be falling asleep a lot.  Yep I'm just walking minding my own business and wham I hit the ground asleep.  Well, not exactly like that but today after getting back home and a little work on the trading room and I'm out  and now it's almost midnight.  And I did not finish the work on the trading room....and payroll tomorrow and Friday....looks like I'll have a cable laying on the floor strung through 3 rooms for a couple of days....hope I don't trip on it and knock things over.

34 YM points today.    On the right it's a guess my stop for 2 trades.

I had a small profit, turned it into a big loss, and then turned it back into a profit.  Just 4 trades a day for 10 points each....it sounds so much easier than it is.
Finally the markets are open again.  Have a lot more to say about the joy, but I need to go to work tonight and time will be short.
     Speaking of short I shorted the market continually today....the chart shows me shorting twice and losing about 44 points ...that hurt!  Things turned around for me later new trades (shorts again) started paying off for me.
