I'm down.  And it has been too many red days for March, which makes me down for the month.

It started out well but that only lasted a week.  The next week I lost those profits, and the weeks after that, some bad futures trading.  I stopped the futures trades....but lately
Ford has been kicking my butt.  My first stop was passed by the gap down this morning, which caused me to consider the next support level.  I hope it does not go down to there and cost me more!
Stopped out of G with my 50 cent trailing stop.
Spent most of last night fixing computer problems and finally fixed one of them just 1 hour before the close today.  But my main trading computer still has the missing display resolution.   It seems to have just disappeared.  When I try the DVI instead of VGA it is still missing the resolution and when the mouse goes over the screen the whole screen will move up, down, and sideways.
I think I'm getting better at picking the right time to buy.....but I still can see them crash at resistance....but others are starting to bounce on the support.  CCMP and ATW.  Did I mention F is just killing me?  ya?, ok

Other stuff:  Maybe there will be some time over the 3 day weekend....sigh.....no trading on Friday....to fix the computer.  Cause he got high hopes, high hopes, whoops there goes another ....  jimminy cricket...catch a cricket for a dollar forty nine.
And speaking of how traders are just messed in the head.  If you were tuned into DAY TRADING RADIO today.  The ICEMAN went so far out there we were laughing so hard we had tears in our eyes.  This guy is certifiable.  Aliens and the Pyramids, drink water from inside the Pyramids.  He offered for us to come down and stay in his apartment with him in Florida and he would make us millionaires.  But with the serious trading side still there, the room pushed his PORT stock to a 30 percent gain in a few hours.  I believe Johnny recorded the show( it's great when ICEMAN just goes out there, way, way, out there).

I just spent about 4 hours redoing screen resolutions and they are still wrong.  Couldn't even sign in to my broker, if I weren't so tired cause it's late I would be pissed.  But I regress....ah...stocks

Ford was picking on me today, they sold Volvo for about 4 billion less than they paid for it.  When I first read about their Sunday night deal I thought "great F is gonna go up".  But then I read the  part where they sold at a loss of about 4 BILLION.  SHOOT THINGS LIKE THIS TELL ME I'M NOT  THE WORST TRADER OUT THERE. ahahahahahaha

Told myself I would let Robot run live today, and on his first trade he pulled a loser.  Then I was happy that I didn't turn him live, and I spent my extra cash buying CAL.  But......he went on to have a great day and CAL really did nothing but go down.

Did some crazy futures trading...poor stuff really.  I was down a hundred and took another trade and told myself I could afford to lose another hundred(that was a lie).  So with a 20 point stop, I actually got back my losses on that last trade.  This ain't the way to do it!

It looks worse than it is  ?  The new brains are functioning well.  The many buy and sell alerts have been cut way down, and the triggers mostly function the way I want them to.  With a little more tweaking his new brains could be swell.

green, it pretty much changes how you feel.  It really is not supposed to, but losing days do really make me a failure and winning days make me a success.  And that overwhelming need to win every day.
It still comes down to that amount of cash in your account that drives almost 90 percent of being a success or failure.  Realizing that an account is so small that 50 cents a share is needed just to break even, while that same amount gets a professional trader out with a good profit.  The horror of upping share size, to have that one stock be your one bad pick of the week.  Or having that 5 dollar profit sitting there with a stop loss just to get 5 dollars.....not a share...total profit...only because your account can not afford any downside.
The under funded wannabe.  that's me.

Put on one futures trade and made 3 points....the rally lasted over 20 more points...but I can't afford a loss..so the tight stops.

I let things get out of control and lost 245 on the futures.  Some really poor decisions and not taking profits, watching them reverse on me....it all sucked.

Had a good YM futures trade....but I did not follow my rules and I really need to start.  It had a trailing stop of 4 points, if it would have held on for just a little bit longer it would have been there during the closing buying spree.

red, down about 35 or 40 dollars....I had a couple of bad futures trades, where I also let my stop loss get moved to twice what it should have been.  I tried to trade my way back to green but this was as close as I got.  Sure am glad I got back as much as I did though.
Whoops...almost forgot....
I added NITE, DPL, and by mistake more NETC.  Once again, I'm rushing and the clunky MB trading platform caused me to buy the wrong stock.  I also canceled a stop order by mistake, thinking I was exiting the window, but I was actually canceling the stop order.
Also, for more mistakes, I put a stop on AMGN and left it at the default number of shares instead of the actual number of shares.  SOMEBODY JUST WAS NOT IN THE GAME TODAY

No futures trades today...I did not want to risk a trade on such an up day.  But, you know, of course, on the guessing-paper trading kind of trade...my futures trades would have made me even more money.

Without that trade I would have been down.
Out TM, I added BSX....most likely an impulse buy on a takeover rumor.  Yesterday's takeover rumor had a 40 cent run, but this one is down on me.

I got to microwave my dinner, and then had crackers and peanut butter, the crunchy kind, and had popcorn.  I get to eat 5 times  a day now, but I've been cutting back to lose that inch so I could have my pig out day.  Putting all that energy into a workout with hardly any food just isn't wise though.
There is this one girl who has a blog called what I ate today.  She actually list what she ate today...that's the blog.  I'm amazed.
I almost missed today's post...cause I ran out of energy and almost slept all night, but I dragged my butt just to write this entry for my whole audience of zero.

TM gaped up and helped out with this.  Instead of taking my profits in the morning like all the professionals, I put a dollar trailing stop on it.  I really hope it doesn't gap down tomorrow.

I made no futures trades today, and if I had extra money to trade with, I would have made an impulse buy on a takeover rumor.  But that would have cost me my futures money, and I don't wont to spend that..'cept for futures trades.

I had 2 good YM trades and that's what kept me in the green today.  Without those two trades I would have been even today.  Gotta love the Green!!  This time I did better than a one dollar trade, but I still hate that I needed to put in a stop loss on the one trade.  Usually, I hope to be out with my profit before my trade goes down 20 dollars....that's my point where I start wondering what this 50 or 60 dollar loss is going to cost me... hey, Bob...I think that would be 50 or 60 dollars :)
Both trades came out good.

Yea!!  I'm green, Toyota was a laggard today, and I still have some left before TM stops out on me.
I'm out CELG (my second half) I just couldn't let it turn red on me again (it has a big daily range), so I put in a tight stop to keep my profit.
out VRSK, finally, I've been in that one for months waiting on it to turn green again, and when it did, I was out.
I tried two futures trades today....in one I took a profit of 80 cents...seriously...80 frieking cents...I am just trying to make sure something green doesn't go red and cost me 50 or 60 bucks.....but 80 cents!!!!!
